7600, c’est la build de Windows 7 et de Windows Server 2008 R2. Plus précisement : 6.1.7600.16385.
Comme annoncé un peu partout, ces deux nouveaux systèmes d’exploitation sont finalisés. C’est donc l’occasion pour lister les premières ressources qui seront utiles pour évaluer et certainement basculer vers ces nouvelles versions.
En préambule, les dates de disponibilité :
- Pour les OEMs : 2 jours après l’annonce de la RTM
- Pour les partenaires, ISVs et IHVs : à partir du 6 Août à travers Connect ou MSDN
- Les partenaires Gold et les membres certifiés : à partir du 16 Août via MPN (Microsoft Partner Network)
- Microsoft Action Pack Subscribers : à partir du 23 Août
- Pour les entreprises ayant souscrit un contrat Volume Licence avec Software Assurance : à partir du 7 Août via VLSC (Volume License Service Center)
- Pour les entreprises ayant souscrit un contrat Volume Licence sans Software Assurance : à partir du 1er Septembre
- Pour les IT Pros : à partir du 6 Août via TechNet
- Pour les développeurs (MSDN) : à partir du 6 Août via MSDN
- Pour le grand public : à partir du 22 Octobre

En ce qui concerne le WAIK (Windows Automated Installation Kit), sa disponibilité se situe autour du 7 Août.
Pour MDT 2010 (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit), entre 30 et 60 jours après l’annonce des versions RTM de Windows.
